He said the \u201cwarm and cordial\u201d exchange underscored Pakistan\u2019s constructive outreach and its commitment to de-escalation through dialogue and diplomacy.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Ashrafi said the joint peace efforts of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye were commendable and reflected a collective resolve to prevent further escalation in the region.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He particularly appreciated the measured and restrained response demonstrated by Arab and Islamic countries, especially Saudi Arabia, noting that instead of reacting aggressively, they showed wisdom and patience. \u201cThis restraint is a positive and commendable step, taken in line with the guidance and diplomatic engagement of Pakistan\u2019s leadership,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Ashrafi said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had reiterated Pakistan\u2019s strong condemnation of attacks on Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed complete solidarity with the Kingdom, further strengthening brotherly ties between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting Pakistan\u2019s broader diplomatic role, Ashrafi welcomed the Prime Minister\u2019s offer to host dialogue between Iran and the United States, terming it a reflection of the international community\u2019s confidence in Pakistan as a credible mediator.<\/p>\n<p>He said Pakistan\u2019s consistent stance, emphasizing dialogue, diplomacy, and unity of the Muslim Ummah, had contributed to preventing a wider conflict in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Ashrafi also referred to the Foreign Office\u2019s position that Islamabad remained ready to facilitate talks if all parties agreed, adding that Pakistan\u2019s role was being acknowledged globally, including by international leadership.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>He emphasized that Pakistan would continue to work with brotherly countries to promote peace, stability, and harmony, while avoiding divisions within the Muslim world.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Concluding his remarks, Ashrafi said Pakistan\u2019s principled and balanced diplomacy had enhanced its global standing and demonstrated its commitment to peace and unity in a time of crisis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister\u2019s Coordinator for the National Peace Message Committee, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi on Wednesday said Pakistan\u2019s growing diplomatic engagement in the Middle East crisis reflects its rising trust and stature in the comity of nations, while playing a key role in promoting restraint and unity among Muslim countries.
