{"id":5065,"date":"2025-05-23T16:40:46","date_gmt":"2025-05-23T16:40:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wnp.com.pk\/?p=5065"},"modified":"2025-05-23T16:40:46","modified_gmt":"2025-05-23T16:40:46","slug":"indias-decades-long-terror-campaign-exposed-dg-ispr-accuses-new-delhi-of-sustained-state-sponsored-attacks-against-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thediplomat.com.pk\/index.php\/2025\/05\/23\/indias-decades-long-terror-campaign-exposed-dg-ispr-accuses-new-delhi-of-sustained-state-sponsored-attacks-against-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"India&#8217;s decades-long terror campaign exposed: DG ISPR accuses New Delhi of sustained state-sponsored attacks against Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI, Friday, May 23, 2025 : Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Friday unveiled a comprehensive dossier alleging decades of Indian state-sponsored terrorism targeting Pakistan, including direct links to recent deadly attacks on civilians and children in Balochistan.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing a joint press conference alongside Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, Lt Gen Chaudhry traced India\u2019s destabilizing agenda from the 1971 creation of Mukti Bahini to modern-day asymmetric warfare orchestrated through intelligence proxies and digital disinformation.<\/p>\n<p>&gt; \u201cIndian state-sponsored terrorism dates back to Pakistan\u2019s inception \u2014 and it continues to this day,\u201d he said, citing detailed evidence including dossiers submitted to the United Nations and confessions from captured operatives.<\/p>\n<p>A bloody trail of terror<\/p>\n<p>The ISPR chief presented slides outlining Indian involvement in terrorist incidents across Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan. He recalled the 2009 Sharm El Sheikh dossier handed to the Indian Prime Minister, followed by further submissions to the UN in 2015 and 2019.<\/p>\n<p>A turning point came in 2016 with the arrest of Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Yadav, who confessed to orchestrating subversive acts inside Pakistan on behalf of India&#8217;s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).<\/p>\n<p>&gt; \u201cHis testimony remains a glaring admission of India\u2019s covert warfare against Pakistan,\u201d said Gen Chaudhry.<\/p>\n<p>More recently, he said, surrendered terrorists have admitted to Indian financing and logistical support, implicating RAW in planning daily attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Targeting innocents: From labourers to schoolchildren<\/p>\n<p>The DG ISPR condemned the May 21 terrorist bombing of a school bus in Khuzdar, which killed six children and injured 51 others. He cited other incidents including:<\/p>\n<p>* The April 12 killing of 12 labourers in Nushki<br \/>\n* The April 28 attack that left two dead in Kech<br \/>\n* The February 14 blast in Harnai that killed 10<br \/>\n* The May 6\u20137 attacks on mosques and gatherings that claimed 40 lives, including 22 children<br \/>\n* The murder of three barbers in Lasbela on May 9<\/p>\n<p>&gt; \u201cThis is not merely terrorism \u2014 it\u2019s a war on the soul of Pakistan,\u201d he said. \u201cWomen and children are now being deliberately targeted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He shared audio and video evidence recovered from terrorists, including material linking an operative arrested in Jhelum on April 25 directly to an Indian Army officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFitna al Hindustan\u201d: India\u2019s proxy network<\/p>\n<p>Gen Chaudhry accused India of reviving its campaign under what he termed \u201cFitna al Hindustan,\u201d referring to clandestine networks managed through RAW.<\/p>\n<p>&gt; \u201cHaving failed in Operation Sindoor, India\u2019s proxies have intensified attacks across Balochistan,\u201d he said. \u201cBut Pakistan remains resolute. These designs will not succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He claimed over 93,000 counterterrorism operations had been conducted nationwide \u2014 including 52,887 in Balochistan \u2014 resulting in the elimination of 1,018 terrorists in 2024 and 747 so far in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>He alleged that India\u2019s frustration stems from Pakistan\u2019s crackdown on smuggling routes and militant facilitators, along with developmental gains in Balochistan.<\/p>\n<p>&gt; \u201cIndia is funding groups like the Balochistan Yakjehti Committee (BYC), which has no public support,\u201d he said. \u201cThey are howling in despair as Balochistan rises economically.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>War of narratives: Propaganda, water wars, &amp; regional hegemony<\/p>\n<p>The ISPR chief accused Indian media of spreading disinformation to shift blame and distract from domestic failures. He cited the Mianwali incident where false stories and images were circulated by Indian platforms even before investigations began.<\/p>\n<p>He warned that thousands of fake social media accounts have recently been created to amplify anti-Pakistan propaganda.<\/p>\n<p>Gen Chaudhry also criticized India\u2019s attempts to obstruct water flows to Pakistan \u2014 a move he termed \u201ca serious breach of international law and the Indus Waters Treaty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&gt; \u201cAny unilateral tampering with river flows will provoke a decisive diplomatic and strategic response,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n<p>Kashmir at the core<\/p>\n<p>The DG ISPR reiterated that peace in South Asia is impossible without resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.<\/p>\n<p>&gt; \u201cKashmir is not India\u2019s internal matter \u2014 it\u2019s an internationally recognized conflict,\u201d he stated. \u201cOver 700,000 Indian troops suppress the population in IIOJK. Systemic abuse, enforced disappearances, and arbitrary detentions continue unchecked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He pointed to India&#8217;s broader human rights record, referencing discrimination against Sikhs, Christians, and Dalits, calling it a \u201cglobal concern, not a domestic issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan\u2019s stance: Restraint, resilience &amp; resolve<\/p>\n<p>Lt Gen Chaudhry affirmed Pakistan\u2019s commitment to peace but stressed that it would not come at the expense of sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p>&gt; \u201cIndia misjudged Pakistan\u2019s unity and resolve. We are ready, resolute, and unbroken,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>&gt; \u201cThe world must take note: the evidence is clear.
