SINGAPORE, Thursday, July 3, 2025 : The High Commission of Pakistan in Singapore held a special screening of the acclaimed Pakistani feature film Nayab<\/em> as part of its ongoing cultural diplomacy efforts aimed at strengthening people-to-people connections and fostering mutual understanding between Pakistan and Singapore.<\/p>\n

The event brought together members of the diplomatic corps, Singaporean government officials, media representatives, film industry professionals, and members of the Pakistani diaspora. It served as a platform to showcase Pakistan\u2019s evolving creative landscape and encourage dialogue through the universal language of cinema.<\/p>\n

Directed by Umair Nasir Ali, Nayab<\/em> tells the inspiring coming-of-age story of a young woman from Karachi who dares to dream of playing for Pakistan\u2019s national cricket team, defying social constraints and family expectations in her pursuit of excellence.<\/p>\n
