RAWALPINDI, Thursday, July 10, 2025 : Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), chaired the 271st Corps Commanders\u2019 Conference (CCC) at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Thursday, where top military leadership resolved to take decisive, holistic action against Indian-backed terrorist proxies and reaffirmed the Armed Forces\u2019 unwavering commitment to the security and sovereignty of Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The high-level forum offered Fateha for the martyrs of recent terrorist attacks, reportedly perpetrated by India-sponsored elements. While acknowledging recent operational successes, the commanders declared that the sacrifices of Shuhada would not go in vain, reiterating that the safety of Pakistani citizens remains the topmost priority.<\/p>\n

In a strong statement, the forum asserted that India, having faced defeat in direct military confrontation\u2014particularly post-Pahalgam incident\u2014is now resorting to proxy warfare under the guises of Fitna Al Khawarij and Fitna Al Hindustan to advance its regional ambitions.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The COAS shared key takeaways from recent diplomatic engagements where he accompanied the Prime Minister on visits to Iran, T\u00fcrkiye, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He also highlighted his historic visit to the United States, where he held strategic meetings with senior American leadership, presenting Pakistan\u2019s objective stance on bilateral and regional issues.<\/p>\n

The forum conducted a comprehensive review of the evolving regional and global security landscape, with special focus on Middle East developments, tensions with Iran, and the increasing reliance on military force as a foreign policy tool. It stressed the need for self-reliant capabilities, internal unity, and resilience to meet the multifaceted challenges ahead.<\/p>\n

Responding to recent baseless insinuations by the Indian Army, the COAS remarked that India\u2019s invocation of third parties in an essentially bilateral military standoff represents a \u201cdisingenuous attempt at bloc politics\u201d, meant to falsely portray India as a net security provider. He criticized India\u2019s hegemonic ambitions and Hindutva-driven extremism, warning of growing disillusionment in the region with New Delhi\u2019s agenda.<\/p>\n

The commanders were also briefed on the Pakistan Army\u2019s rapid adaptation to evolving threats and changing warfare dynamics. Field Marshal Munir appreciated the Pakistan Navy and Air Force for enhancing tri-services synergy, a key component in national defense readiness.<\/p>\n
