ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, July 23, 2025 : President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday invited Austrian companies to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan\u2019s growing information technology and tourism sectors, emphasizing the country\u2019s rich human capital and untapped alpine tourism potential.<\/p>\n

He made the remarks during a farewell meeting with the outgoing Austrian Ambassador to Pakistan, Andrea Wicke, at Aiwan-e-Sadr. President Zardari highlighted the promising landscape of Pakistan\u2019s tech industry, driven by a skilled youth workforce, and called for enhanced Austrian engagement in this domain.<\/p>\n

He also underscored Pakistan\u2019s vast tourism potential, particularly in mountainous regions, and encouraged Austria\u2014renowned for its expertise in alpine tourism\u2014to consider strategic investments in this sector.<\/p>\n
