Key interventions included the installation of water filtration systems, community-led hygiene awareness campaigns, and the creation of local water user committees to ensure long-term sustainability.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah, addressing the event, underscored water and sanitation as fundamental rights, urging greater institutional and societal accountability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWASH is essential for dignity, education, and health,\u201d he said. \u201cEvery child deserves clean water and safe sanitation. I commend the efforts of those working in this field and call on all of us\u2014government, civil society, and citizens\u2014to collaborate and build systems that are climate-resilient and inclusive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WaterAid Pakistan\u2019s Country Director, Mian Muhammad Junaid, emphasized the power of collaboration in achieving systemic change.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis project has not only delivered infrastructure but has built local leadership and capacity. It stands as a strong example of how community, government, and private sector cooperation can generate shared value and sustainable impact.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hatim Khan, Senior Director of International Programs at the PepsiCo Foundation, reaffirmed the Foundation\u2019s global mission to improve water access in stressed regions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur partnership with WaterAid demonstrates our commitment to sustainable water solutions in areas that need them most.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event featured a panel discussion titled \u201cLearning Together for Sustainable WASH\u201d, moderated by journalist Tauseeq Haider. Panelists included Haseeb Malik (PepsiCo Pakistan), Muhammad Ammad (IDEA), Nisar Ahmed Nizamani (DevCon), Dr. Amjad Rashid (Taraqee Foundation), and Saadia Iqbal (Mojaz Foundation).
