ISLAMABAD, Thursday, July 24, 2025 : President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday praised China\u2019s unwavering support for Pakistan\u2019s socio-economic development and underscored the vast potential for expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, culture, and regional connectivity.<\/p>\n
During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the president reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s strong commitment to its all-weather friendship with China, calling it a cornerstone of the country\u2019s foreign policy.<\/p>\n
\u201cPakistan attaches the highest importance to its relationship with China,\u201d President Zardari stated, adding that both countries must continue to work closely for the promotion of regional peace, stability, and shared prosperity.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
He expressed deep gratitude for China\u2019s steadfast support during challenging times, noting that the Pakistani people held deep affection and respect for their \u201ciron brother.\u201d<\/p>\n
