ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, September 17, 2025 : Federal Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal on Wednesday held a meeting with the Ambassador of T\u00fcrkiye to Pakistan, \u0130rfan Neziro\u011flu, to explore avenues of cooperation in the health sector and discuss broader matters of mutual interest.<\/p>\n
Welcoming the envoy, the minister said Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye shared decades-long brotherly relations rooted in cultural affinity, trust, and common aspirations. He underscored the need to build on these historic ties by expanding cooperation in healthcare and allied fields.<\/p>\n
The discussions centered on strengthening collaboration for a modern, efficient health system, with particular focus on technology transfer, innovation, and health tourism. The two sides also considered opportunities for local vaccine production and academic exchanges involving doctors, nurses, and health professionals.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Minister Kamal noted that Pakistan could benefit from T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s advancements in healthcare, while T\u00fcrkiye could also draw on Pakistan\u2019s growing expertise and reform experience. He said such collaboration would not only deepen bilateral ties but also contribute to regional health security.<\/p>\n
Highlighting the prime minister\u2019s vision for comprehensive reforms, he added that the government was prioritizing service delivery, expanding healthcare infrastructure, and ensuring affordable treatment for citizens.<\/p>\n
Ambassador Neziro\u011flu praised Pakistan\u2019s reform initiatives and assured T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s support in strengthening partnerships, particularly in research, training, and technology-driven healthcare solutions.<\/p>\n
