ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, October 29, 2025 : A high-level delegation led by Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Special Assistant for Financial Affairs to the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, on Wednesday visited the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, accompanied by Md. Iqbal Hussain Khan, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Director General of Da\u2019wah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). During the visit, the guests were given a comprehensive briefing on the architectural grandeur, historical importance, and spiritual symbolism of Faisal Mosque, as well as the educational and da\u2019wah initiatives being carried out by Da\u2019wah Academy and IIUI.\"\"<\/p>\n

The Bangladeshi delegation commended Pakistan\u2019s efforts in promoting education and religious enlightenment and expressed a strong desire to enhance bilateral collaboration in the fields of academic exchange, cultural understanding, and da\u2019wah-related activities.<\/p>\n

Later, the delegation members offered Zuhr prayers led by Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, while students from the Department of Hifz recited verses from the Holy Qur\u2019an. At the conclusion of the visit, the Director General of Da\u2019wah Academy presented commemorative shields and copies of the Holy Qur\u2019an to the guests.
