ISLAMABAD, Saturday, December 27, 2025 (WNP): Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, on Saturday paid a solemn tribute to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on her martyrdom anniversary, describing her as a visionary leader whose courage, commitment to democratic values and advocacy for social justice left an enduring imprint on Pakistan and the wider region.<\/p>\n
IN A MESSAGE ISSUED ON DECEMBER 27, OBSERVED AS SHAHEED BENAZIR BHUTTO DAY, THE IRANIAN AMBASSADOR SAID BENAZIR BHUTTO\u2019S LIFE AND LEADERSHIP CONTINUE TO INSPIRE GENERATIONS THROUGH HER DEDICATION TO PUBLIC SERVICE, HUMAN VALUES AND THE EMPOWERMENT OF THE PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\u201cMohtarma Benazir Bhutto\u2019s legacy of public service, advocacy for human values, and unwavering commitment to the empowerment of the people of Pakistan continue to inspire not only within the country but across the region,\u201d Ambassador Moghadam said. He noted that her sacrifices in pursuit of social justice remain a powerful source of reflection and resolve.<\/p>\n
Expressing solidarity with Pakistan on the day of remembrance, the Iranian envoy extended his heartfelt sentiments to the Government and the people of Pakistan, describing them as a \u201cbrotherly nation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan\u2019s first woman prime minister and a symbol of democratic struggle, was assassinated on December 27, 2007.
