<\/p>\nMAKKAH, Sunday, January 11, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Sunday departed for Pakistan after completing an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he represented Pakistan at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Senator Dar inaugurated the newly constructed chancery building of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah, marking a significant step toward enhancing consular services for the large Pakistani community in western Saudi Arabia. The new facility is expected to improve service delivery and strengthen institutional capacity for overseas Pakistanis.<\/p>\n
AS PART OF HIS STAY, THE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER ALSO TRAVELLED TO MADINAH MUNAWWARAH, WHERE HE OFFERED PRAYERS AT ROZA-E-RASOOL \ufdfa, AND LATER PROCEEDED TO MAKKAH MUKARRAMAH TO PERFORM UMRAH.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
On these occasions, he offered special prayers for the peace, stability and prosperity of Pakistan, as well as for unity and wellbeing across the Muslim Ummah.<\/p>\n
Before his departure, Senator Dar expressed his appreciation to Pakistan\u2019s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, the staff of the Consulate General in Jeddah, and Pakistan\u2019s Permanent Representative to the OIC for their support and coordination throughout the visit, which officials described as both diplomatically productive and spiritually significant.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
