ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan, Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, on Friday inaugurated a new document attestation facility in Islamabad for streamlining consular services for Pakistani citizens traveling to the UAE.<\/p>\n

The centre, operated by BLS International Services Ltd, will handle the attestation of documents by the UAE Embassy.<\/p>\n

THE FACILITY IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE FASTER, MORE EFFICIENT PROCESSING FOR INDIVIDUALS SEEKING TO TRAVEL TO THE EMIRATES FOR EMPLOYMENT, BUSINESS, EDUCATION AND OTHER PURPOSES.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Ambassador Al Zaabi said the establishment of the facility reflects the enduring and strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Pakistan. He described the initiative as part of the UAE\u2019s broader commitment to improving public service delivery and enhancing consular support for Pakistani nationals.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe launch of this centre will significantly reduce processing times, increase convenience, and ensure greater transparency and efficiency in document attestation procedures,\u201d the ambassador said, adding that smoother documentation processes would facilitate travel arrangements for thousands of Pakistanis heading to the UAE each year.<\/p>\n

Pakistan remains one of the largest sources of expatriate workers in the UAE, with deep economic and people-to-people linkages between the two countries. Remittances from Pakistani expatriates in the UAE constitute a substantial portion of Pakistan\u2019s foreign inflows.<\/p>\n

The ambassador also appreciated the cooperation extended by relevant Pakistani authorities and the management of BLS International Services for operationalizing the centre. He reaffirmed the embassy\u2019s continued commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and promoting closer engagement between the two \u201cbrotherly nations.\u201d<\/p>\n
