{"id":87756,"date":"2026-11-02T20:54:34","date_gmt":"2026-11-02T20:54:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thediplomat.com.pk\/?p=87756"},"modified":"2026-11-02T20:54:34","modified_gmt":"2026-11-02T20:54:34","slug":"turkiye-seeks-to-rebuild-three-key-geographies-under-erdogans-leadership-ali-sahin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thediplomat.com.pk\/index.php\/2026\/11\/02\/turkiye-seeks-to-rebuild-three-key-geographies-under-erdogans-leadership-ali-sahin\/","title":{"rendered":"T\u00fcrkiye seeks to rebuild three key geographies under Erdo\u011fan\u2019s leadership: Ali \u015eahin"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Turkish lawmaker identifies national, civilisational and global geographies as priorities, highlighting the Mecca Alliance and T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s historic role in promoting stability and justice<\/em><\/h6>\n<figure id=\"attachment_87493\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-87493\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-87493 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/thediplomat.com.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/d7e03b49-07d2-44c3-8791-3758a5916844-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-87493\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">By Rehan Khan Director Diplomatic &amp; International Affairs<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>ANKARA<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Chairman of the T\u00fcrkiye-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group and Member of the Grand National Assembly of T\u00fcrkiye, Ali \u015eahin, has said that T\u00fcrkiye, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, seeks to rebuild and revitalise three important geographical spheres: its national geography, civilisational and cultural geography, and the broader geography of humanity.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on TYT T\u00fcrk News Channel\u2019s daily news recap programme, <em>G\u00fcn\u00fcn \u00d6zeti<\/em>, Ali \u015eahin said T\u00fcrkiye had been working for the past 25 years under President Erdo\u011fan\u2019s leadership, and for nearly the past decade in cooperation with the People\u2019s Alliance, to rebuild and strengthen its national geography.<\/p>\n<p>He said the country had now entered a process aimed at freeing T\u00fcrkiye from terrorism, adding that the successful conclusion of the \u201cTerror-Free T\u00fcrkiye\u201d process would substantially complete the efforts to rebuild and revitalise its national geography.<\/p>\n<p>\u015eahin emphasised that T\u00fcrkiye had historically never existed solely for itself, but had also played a role in serving other nations and humanity. He pointed out that Turkish people had established martyrdom cemeteries at 78 locations across 36 countries, stretching between the East and West and the North and South, reflecting the country&#8217;s historical presence in different parts of the world.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"T\u00fcrkiye seeks to rebuild three key geographies under Erdo\u011fan\u2019s leadership: Ali \u015eahin\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JWGpIo7kmjk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Identifying the second priority as T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s civilisational and cultural geography, he described the Mecca Alliance as part of the effort to rebuild and revitalise this wider region and bring stability to its neighbouring and culturally connected areas.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He said the third sphere was the geography of humanity, recalling that T\u00fcrkiye had historically extended its presence across different regions and contributed to stability beyond its own borders.<\/p>\n<p>According to \u015eahin, three important missions were embedded in the God-given qualities of the Turkish nation: safeguarding Islam, protecting the oppressed, and establishing stability and justice across the world.<\/p>\n<p>To illustrate this historical role, he recounted an anecdote concerning the German city of Mannheim, situated along the River Rhine near the French border.
