Dar, Saudi FM Faisal bin Farhan discuss regional situation; reaffirm commitment to peace efforts

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Thursday to exchange views on the evolving regional situation.

During the call, Ishaq Dar expressed deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support to Pakistan in its efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.

Both leaders underscored the importance of sustained dialogue and diplomatic engagement to advance a lasting peace and emphasized the need for continued coordination amid ongoing developments.

Reaffirming the strong fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the two sides agreed to remain in close contact on matters of mutual interest.
