Pakistan, UK reaffirm commitment to dialogue, regional stability during Dar–Cooper call

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with United Kingdom Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on Monday evening, during which both sides exchanged views on the evolving regional situation.

During the call, the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region and emphasized the need for continued diplomatic engagement. The UK Foreign Secretary appreciated Pakistan’s facilitation role and its ongoing efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy.

Both dignitaries underscored the importance of sustained engagement to advance peace and stability in the region and beyond, reaffirming their shared commitment to constructive cooperation.

They also agreed to remain in close contact on matters of mutual interest.
