President Zardari confers Sitara-i-Pakistan on Prof. Pan Xiangbin in Changsha

CHANGSHA: President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday conferred the Sitara-i-Pakistan upon Professor Pan Xiangbin in Changsha in recognition of his outstanding contributions to cardiac care and services for Pakistani patients.

The award was presented in acknowledgment of Prof. Pan’s efforts in treating Pakistani children suffering from congenital heart disease, as well as his role in training Pakistani medical professionals to enhance local healthcare capacity.

The President lauded Prof. Pan Xiangbin’s dedication and humanitarian services, terming his work a reflection of the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and China and a testament to growing cooperation in the health sector.

The recognition highlights the importance Pakistan attaches to international collaboration in advancing medical expertise and improving healthcare outcomes for its citizens.
