Iranian President praises national resilience, public service amid challenges

TEHRAN, Thursday, May 14, 2026 (WNP): President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian praised the resilience of the Iranian nation and the dedication of workers, officials and public service personnel in maintaining stability and security during challenging circumstances.

President Pezeshkian said Iran had faced serious pressures and attacks, including bombardments targeting the capital, but emphasized that the Iranian people continued to demonstrate unity and determination.

He appreciated the efforts of workers, managers and public institutions for ensuring stability with minimal disruption despite difficult conditions, noting that the country had avoided severe crises and fluctuations during periods of tension.

The Iranian president said the situation reflected the commitment and purposeful efforts of the country’s leadership and institutions in safeguarding national security and public welfare.

Calling for greater unity and cooperation, Pezeshkian stressed that all segments of society must work together for the strength, dignity and protection of Iran, describing the country as a shared source of national pride and honour.
