President Zardari invites Qatari investment as Pakistan, Qatar pledge to deepen economic, diplomatic ties

DOHA, Tuesday, November 4, 2025 : Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, on Tuesday called on President Asif Ali Zardari in Doha, where both leaders discussed ways to further expand bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade and investment sectors.

DURING THE MEETING, PRESIDENT ZARDARI INVITED QATARI INVESTORS TO EXPLORE OPPORTUNITIES IN PAKISTAN’S ENERGY, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND AGRICULTURE SECTORS, EMPHASIZING PAKISTAN’S COMMITMENT TO FACILITATING FOREIGN INVESTMENT THROUGH FAVORABLE POLICIES AND BUSINESS-FRIENDLY REFORMS.

Both sides reaffirmed their resolve to strengthen economic and diplomatic ties, enhance people-to-people exchanges, and work closely in advancing regional peace and prosperity.

The meeting underscored the long-standing friendship between Pakistan and Qatar and their shared vision for mutual growth and regional stability.
