PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi and President of the International Research Council for Religious Affairs (IRCRA), Muhammad Israr Madani, on Thursday discussed Pakistan’s growing diplomatic achievements on the global stage and agreed to organize a high-level conference for highlighting the country’s constructive role in international diplomacy.
Muhammad Israr Madani called on Governor Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House, where the two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including Pakistan’s evolving foreign policy, recent diplomatic successes and initiatives to further strengthen the country’s international image.
Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentary Leader in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Ahmad Kundi and IRCRA Programme Manager Bushra Ali also attended the meeting.
During the discussions, both sides reviewed Pakistan’s recent diplomatic engagements and successful negotiations at the international level, emphasizing the need to effectively project these achievements before national and global audiences.
It was decided that a major conference would soon be organized at the Governor House in Peshawar, bringing together prominent diplomats, foreign affairs experts, policymakers, academics and opinion leaders to deliberate on Pakistan’s diplomatic successes, foreign policy priorities and national image.
The meeting also explored avenues for joint initiatives to further promoting Pakistan’s positive diplomatic role in international forums, strengthening the country’s global standing and effectively presenting its national perspective before the international community.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi observed that Pakistan had significantly strengthened its positive international image in recent years through responsible diplomacy, constructive engagement and effective negotiations, adding that these achievements deserved greater recognition at both national and international levels.
He appreciated the efforts of the International Research Council for Religious Affairs in promoting intellectual dialogue and policy-oriented research, reaffirming his support for academic and strategic initiatives that contribute to strengthening Pakistan’s national narrative and enhancing its positive global image.
Both sides expressed confidence that closer cooperation between research institutions and public representatives would further reinforce Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach and promote informed dialogue on regional and international affairs.
