ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday approved the promotion of Lieutenant General Aamer Raza, HI(M), SBt, Chief of the General Staff (CGS) of the Pakistan Army, to the rank of Four-Star General and appointed him as Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC).
The appointment marks a significant development in Pakistan’s strategic command structure, with General Aamer Raza assuming one of the country’s most important military responsibilities.
