Meeting held on sidelines of inaugural Strategic Political and Defence Committee session
ISTANBUL: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Türkiye’s Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler on the sidelines of the inaugural meeting of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee, established under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.
The two sides discussed bilateral defence cooperation and matters of mutual interest, reaffirming the importance of continued engagement between Pakistan and Türkiye in the defence and strategic domains.
The meeting formed part of Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic and strategic engagement with Türkiye and provided an opportunity to exchange views on areas of mutual interest and further strengthen bilateral defence ties.
