NEW YORK, Tuesday, July 29, 2025 : Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a bilateral meeting with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya on Tuesday, reaffirming the commitment of both nations to strengthen ties across key sectors including trade, investment, energy, food security, and defense.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Conference on the Two-State Solution at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

The two foreign ministers emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation not only at the bilateral level but also through coordinated engagement at international platforms such as the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

They agreed to initiate high-level exchanges in the near future aimed at deepening political, economic, and strategic engagement between the two countries.

On the regional front, both leaders expressed grave concern over the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and the deteriorating humanitarian crisis affecting the Palestinian people. They called for immediate international action and reiterated their shared stance on the urgent need for a just and lasting resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

They also voiced optimism that the deliberations and outcomes of the UN conference would contribute meaningfully to the realization of the two-state solution, in line with international law and relevant UN resolutions.
