BUCHAREST: Romania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Oana Țoiu on Tuesday said she held a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, focusing on regional developments in the Middle East, including the recently held Islamabad Talks.

In a statement, the Romanian foreign minister expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s sustained mediation efforts, carried out alongside regional partners, which contributed to a ceasefire agreement and helped prevent further military escalation in the region.
