VIENNA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Vienna on a two-day official visit to Austria at the invitation of Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker, signalling a renewed push to deepen bilateral cooperation and expand economic engagement between the two countries.
The visit marks an important step in strengthening Pakistan–Austria relations, with a focus on trade, investment, sustainable development and multilateral collaboration.
DURING HIS STAY, PRIME MINISTER SHEHBAZ SHARIF IS SCHEDULED TO HOLD BILATERAL TALKS WITH CHANCELLOR STOCKER, ALONG WITH DELEGATION-LEVEL DISCUSSIONS AIMED AT BROADENING COOPERATION ACROSS KEY SECTORS.
The two leaders are also expected to engage with prominent business representatives to promote greater private-sector partnerships and explore new investment opportunities, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing economic growth and shared prosperity.
The visit as a significant opportunity to open new avenues of collaboration and reinforce the longstanding diplomatic ties between Islamabad and Vienna.
