Pakistan, Türkiye to boost ICT cooperation with Tech Park, youth exchange & digital innovation

ISLAMABAD, Monday, September 15, 2025 : Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan İrfan Neziroğlu on Monday met Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja to explore avenues of enhanced cooperation in information technology, digital transformation, and innovation.

The meeting focused on advancing joint initiatives under the IT Business Council, collaboration on establishing a Technology Park in Pakistan, and launching internship and fellowship exchange programs to create new opportunities for young professionals.

Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja underscored that, in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of a “Digital Nation,” Pakistan was committed to building robust partnerships with Türkiye to accelerate digital transformation, foster innovation, and empower its youth.

Ambassador Neziroğlu reaffirmed Türkiye’s willingness to expand digital linkages, knowledge-sharing, and joint ventures with Pakistan, highlighting the potential for collaboration in shaping a future-ready, connected economy.

The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication reiterated its commitment to strengthening international partnerships in ICT to ensure Pakistan emerges as a competitive player in the global digital landscape.
