TİKA completes first phase of Javed Manzil Museum renovation project

ISLAMABAD, Thursday, April 2, 2026 (WNP): The Country Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Saliha Tuna, has said that the successful completion of the first phase of the Javed Manzil Museum Renovation Project marks a significant step towards transforming the historic site into a modern museum facility.

She said the initial phase encompassed comprehensive site surveys, detailed architectural documentation, and the development of preliminary design concepts for shaping the future structure and presentation of the museum.

Following the completion of this phase, TİKA’s team, along with technical experts from Türkiye, visited the Javed Manzil Museum to conduct an on-site review of the project. The visit provided an opportunity to assess progress, exchange technical insights, and further refine plans for the next stages of the renovation.

Saliha Tuna expressed confidence that the project would help preserve the historical significance of Javed Manzil while converting it into a contemporary museum space, enhancing its cultural and educational value for visitors.
