Prime Minister Shehbaz arrives in Jeddah on official visit to Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Jeddah on Wednesday as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by a high-level delegation.

Upon arrival, the Prime Minister and his delegation were accorded a warm reception at the airport by Prince Saud bin Mushaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq.

During his stay in Jeddah, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The talks will focus on further strengthening the longstanding bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as an exchange of views on the evolving regional situation.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, and the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson for Foreign Media Musharraf Zaidi.

The visit reflects Pakistan’s continued efforts to deepen engagement with Saudi Arabia and enhance cooperation on regional and international issues.
