PM Shehbaz meets Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi, emphasizes dialogue for regional stability

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday received Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi at the Prime Minister’s House, where the two sides held an in-depth meeting lasting approximately two hours.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, along with other senior officials.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy as key instruments for ensuring peace and stability in the region and beyond.

The discussions focused on regional developments and the need for continued engagement to address evolving challenges through peaceful means.

The high-level interaction reflects the ongoing diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Iran aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and promoting regional stability.
