Pakistan reaffirms commitment to strengthening longstanding brotherly ties with Iran and expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam, called on Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif here on Wednesday and discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.

The two sides exchanged views on ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and deepen engagement between Pakistan and Iran.

During the meeting, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its longstanding and brotherly relations with Iran.

He also emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.

The meeting reflected the two countries’ continued commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation through sustained engagement.
