Russian citizens cast ballots at embassy in Pakistan

Voting precinct No. 8250 opens at Russian Embassy in Islamabad; Ambassador Albert P. Khorev among first to vote

ISLAMABAD: Voting precinct No. 8250 has opened at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Pakistan for Russian citizens residing or temporarily staying in the country to participate in the elections of deputies to the State Duma.

Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev has already exercised his right to vote at the embassy.

The embassy invited Russian citizens aged 18 and above to participate in the electoral process. Voters are required to present an original identity document valid for Russian citizens abroad, including a foreign, service or diplomatic passport, or a return certificate.

The voting precinct will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
