Ishaq Dar, Malaysian Home Minister discuss trade, economy, legal assistance and people-to-people exchanges
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday held a meeting with Malaysian Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reaffirming the close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Malaysia.
The two sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade and economic relations, mutual legal assistance and people-to-people exchanges.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to working closely towards shared objectives of peace, stability and prosperity.
The meeting underscored the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Malaysia and the importance of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation across diverse areas.
The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Minister of State for Interior and Narcotics Control Talal Chaudhry, Federal Secretary for Commerce Jawad Paul, Federal Secretary for National Food Security and Research Amer Ali Ahmed and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
