U.S. Chargé d’Affaires, KP leaders discuss critical minerals, energy, security cooperation

ISLAMABAD: U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker and Peshawar Consul General Tom Eckert met Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati and parliamentary leaders at KP House in Islamabad to discuss areas of mutual interest and ways to strengthen Pakistan-U.S. cooperation.

The meeting focused on U.S. priorities and cooperation in critical minerals, energy and security, with the participants exchanging views on opportunities to advance shared interests.

The U.S. officials and KP parliamentary leadership also discussed the importance of closer engagement in strengthening regional stability and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation.

The U.S. Embassy said the partnership between Pakistan and the United States remained important to advancing shared priorities and supporting regional stability and economic cooperation.
