ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, April 23, 2025 : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday strongly condemned a terrorist attack targeting a polio vaccination team in Mastung, Balochistan, which resulted in the martyrdom of security personnel assigned to protect the health workers.

In a statement issued during his ongoing two-day official visit to Türkiye, the prime minister expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life, particularly the Levies personnel who were killed while performing their duty to safeguard public health efforts.

Offering prayers for the departed souls, the prime minister extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for their strength in the face of this tragedy.
