ISLAMABAD: Commander National Strategic Command General Syed Aamer Raza, NI (M), called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.

The Deputy Prime Minister congratulated General Syed Aamer Raza on his promotion and appointment as Commander of the National Strategic Command and expressed his best wishes for success in his new responsibilities.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters relating to national security and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

They underscored the importance of close institutional coordination in advancing Pakistan’s national interests and contributing to regional peace and security.

The meeting reaffirmed the significance of effective coordination among key national institutions in addressing emerging security challenges and safeguarding Pakistan’s strategic interests.
