Iranian parliamentary delegation arrives in Islamabad to bolster bilateral, legislative cooperation

ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, November 5, 2025 : A high-level parliamentary delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Speaker of the Islamic Parliament Dr. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday on a special invitation from Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

Speaker Ayaz Sadiq warmly received the visiting delegation upon arrival, underscoring the historic friendship and shared values that continue to strengthen relations between the two neighboring nations.

 

THE VISIT MARKS A RENEWED COMMITMENT TO DEEPENING BILATERAL TIES AND ENHANCING INTER-PARLIAMENTARY COLLABORATION BETWEEN PAKISTAN AND IRAN. IT ALSO AIMS TO PROMOTE MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND REGIONAL COOPERATION THROUGH CONTINUED DIALOGUE AND EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE LEGISLATIVE BODIES OF BOTH COUNTRIES.

Officials said the discussions during the visit are expected to focus on expanding cooperation in areas of economic, political, and people-to-people engagement, reflecting the shared aspiration of both nations for peace, prosperity, and regional stability.
