Bilawal Bhutto Zardari meets British High Commissioner, discusses bilateral ties, global issues

ISLAMABAD, Thursday, January 15, 206 (WNP): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday held a meeting with British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott, during which the two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, global developments, and the strengthening of Pakistan–United Kingdom relations.

The meeting focused on ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the UK, including political engagement, diplomatic coordination, and collaboration on regional and international issues.

BILAWAL BHUTTO ZARDARI UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE OF SUSTAINED DIALOGUE AND CLOSER COOPERATION TO ADVANCE SHARED INTERESTS AND PROMOTE STABILITY AT BOTH REGIONAL AND GLOBAL LEVELS.

He also shared his perspectives on expanding Pakistan–UK partnership across various sectors, emphasizing the value of long-standing ties between the two countries and the need to build upon them in a changing global environment.

Senator Sherry Rehman was also present during the meeting. The interaction was viewed as part of ongoing diplomatic engagement aimed at reinforcing cordial relations and broadening cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
