DOHA: Pakistan and Qatar on Monday reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the security sector during a meeting between Qatar’s Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Mohsin Reza Naqvi.
According to an official statement, the two leaders reviewed the longstanding relations between Pakistan and Qatar, with particular focus on enhancing cooperation in security and law enforcement.
The discussions explored ways to further strengthen and expand bilateral collaboration in key security fields while reaffirming the shared commitment of both countries to addressing common challenges through closer institutional cooperation.
The meeting also covered a range of issues of mutual interest, reflecting the growing strategic partnership between Islamabad and Doha across multiple sectors.
