PM Shehbaz, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hold bilateral talks in Makkah

MAKKAH: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was warmly received by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud upon his arrival at Al-Safa Palace in the holy city of Makkah on Friday, where the two leaders commenced high-level bilateral talks.

The meeting is focused on further strengthening the longstanding strategic partnership and fraternal relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as reviewing the evolving regional situation and matters of mutual interest.

Accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the meeting are Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif.

The high-level engagement reflects the close coordination and deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and is expected to further enhance cooperation in strategic, political, economic and regional affairs.
