KABUL: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 37 food baskets among people affected by floods in Sharana, the administrative center of Afghanistan’s Paktika Province.

On Friday, the assistance benefited 259 individuals from 37 families as part of the 2026 Food Security and Emergency Project for flood-affected people in the central, eastern and southeastern regions of Afghanistan.

The humanitarian assistance forms part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing relief efforts, delivered through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support the Afghan people and help alleviate their suffering.

The initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to providing essential assistance to vulnerable communities affected by natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies.
