KSrelief to distribute 15,500 personal care kits and 15,500 shelter kits, install 150 mobile latrines benefiting around 120,000 people
MANILA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Sunday launched a humanitarian relief project to support people affected by the Mindanao earthquake in the Philippines.
Under the initiative, 15,500 personal care kits and 15,500 shelter kits will be distributed, while 150 mobile latrines will also be provided to affected communities.
The project is expected to benefit approximately 120,000 people, helping meet urgent humanitarian and shelter needs following the earthquake.
The initiative forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian and relief efforts carried out through KSrelief to assist people affected by disasters and crises around the world.
Through such projects, KSrelief seeks to provide essential assistance, address basic needs, improve living conditions and help alleviate the suffering of communities facing the consequences of natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies.
