Security forces eliminate six terrorists including key commander in KP operations

Date:

RAWALPINDI, Monday, April 21, 2025 : Pakistan’s security forces have killed six Khwarij terrorists, including a key commander, during two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the military’s media wing announced on Monday.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were carried out between April 20 and 21 following intelligence reports about the presence of militants.

In the first operation, conducted in the Razmak area of North Waziristan District, security forces engaged a terrorist hideout, successfully killing five militants.

In a separate intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan District, troops neutralized Zabi Ullah, also known by his alias Zakran, a notorious terrorist commander. He was reportedly involved in multiple attacks against security forces and the targeted killing of civilians, and was on the most-wanted list of law enforcement agencies.

Following the engagements, a sanitization operation was launched to clear the areas of any remaining threats. The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in their mission to eradicate terrorism and ensure lasting peace across the country.
